Local places of interest: amenities, facilities and sights
The Directory is not just shops. It also lists the useful public things in town: toilets, parks, post offices, banks and ATMs, and the sights worth a visit.
Find one
- Open the Directory column (the Directory tab on a phone).
- Tap a chip such as Park, Attractions or Cafe, or use Filters to pick a category like Public Toilet or Post Office.
- Tap a pin on the map or a listing to open it.
A listing shows the address, opening hours (or "Hours not listed"), and a Directions button. Businesses also show whether they are open now.
Something missing?
Anyone can suggest a place: use List a place (see Add a listing by hand). A local volunteer checks it before it goes up.
TODO (client): Confirm the list of amenity/sight categories the client wants called out, and whether 'sights' should map to the Attractions category.
