What does the heart mean? (Save)

The heart on an event means Save. It is your own shortlist of things you want to remember. It is not a public "like" and nobody else sees it.

How to save an event

  1. Tap the heart on an event card, or tap Save on the event's page.
  2. The heart fills in. Tap it again to remove it.
  3. Tap the heart in the top bar to see everything you have saved, soonest first.

Do I need an account?

No. Saving works without signing in: your phone or computer keeps the list. If you are signed in, the list is also kept on your account, so what you save on one device shows up on the others.

Good to know: If you are not signed in and you clear your browser's data, a device-only list goes with it. Sign in to keep it safe.

What else does saving do?

  • If an event you saved changes its date, time or place, or a date is dropped, we let you know. In the app that is a notification; otherwise it is a short email (you can switch these off in your email preferences).
  • Saving does not set a reminder. For a nudge before the event, use Remind me.

The hearts with numbers on Gallery photos

The small heart and number on a Gallery photo is a count shown beside the photo. It is not something you can tap yet.

TODO (client): Confirm whether Gallery photo hearts are meant to become tappable likes, and update this section if so.
